#9 - Secret Sauce Video

Hey Everyone,

Even if you're like us and copied the smart kid's science homework on the bus to school or had to attend the class for "special" kids like Anthony, (the word "special" can mean so many things, so many sad and disturbing things) you still learned that we all change over time.

Natural human development is one of those indisputable facts of life.

Back when we first met, long before we agreed to spend every waking hour together in a confined space and obsess over the merits of cleaning with a paper towel versus a cloth towel, we were a couple of skinny middle-schoolers with bad hair-cuts (Anthony thought it would be cool to have lightning bolts carved into the side of his head).

Then, all of a sudden one of us grew.

In 8th grade, Anthony hit puberty, gained 80 pounds, and was getting 5 o'clock shadow by the time he was shoving down his third lunch helping of shepard's pie (oh, how he loved that sweet, sugarless pie). Meanwhile, Jon remained short, skinny, and sad (handicaps that he'd overcome to dominate Anthony in the middle school basketball tourney).

And over the next 15 years or so, we'd grow some more, eat thousands of Uncle Faris' homemade meals, and endure a pathetic stretch in high school in which we spent every weekend night driving with Uncle Faris to the Dedham movie theatres. (We were so crazy that we would often sneak into a second movie without paying. 4 hours of straight movies. No girls, no beer, just straight action. Cool. Very Cool.)

Then, we'd endure an even more pathetic stretch in high school in which we spent every weekend night with Uncle Faris at Anthony's house watching the TV show "Cops" and listening to "Jerky Boys" tapes. (No girls, no parties, just hard coolness.)

Over those years, we'd also go to college, hate our jobs, come up with a business idea, fight a lot about that business idea, and open a business. And while we still have no parties to go to, still love reality TV, and still have a lot of growing to do, we have grown.

And the same thing is happening to our baby, b.good.

It's taken 10 months, but b.good has hit puberty. Although its voice cracks once in a while and it gets an occasional pimple, our baby has grown into the pubescent, "healthier" fast food restaurant that every parent dreams of.

10 months ago, we could've only dreamed that one day our baby would grow to have a new Adopted Luke burger with bbq sauce, grilled red onions, saut?ed mushrooms, and swiss, a new Venetian veggie burger with pesto, sundried tomatoes, and garlicky greens, and a new Chipotle chicken sandwich with guacamole, grilled red onions, and a chipotle-balsamic dressing.

And most of all, we could've only dreamed that our baby would ever have its very own secret sauce. (Ok, maybe it's not that secret, but it makes us feel good to say that.)

Well, those parental dreams have become a reality. Today, November 17th, b.good is unveiling a new menu. Come on by today and tell us how handsome and mature our baby has become.

And to introduce our new menu in true b.good fashion, we've made what may be our best video yet to answer the question that we'll be asked for months - "How did you guys come up with the most delicious sauce ever put on a 93% lean, house-ground, hand-packed, seasoned-to-perfection burger?"

Click www.bgood.com/secretsauce.php to learn the covert origins of our highly addictive secret sauce.

The growth of our baby and its secret sauce are cause for celebration. So, we're going to party with you by giving away free burgers covered with the stuff.

Come by b.good tomorrow night, Thursday, November 18th anytime between 5-11 pm and eat free Cousin Oliver burgers topped with our new secret sauce. (Don't worry, this time we won't run out of the sauce.)

Just print out this email and bring it with you Thursday night.

As always, if you know anyone crazy enough to want to receive this newsletter or anyone who just wants the free food that comes with it, forward them this email and tell them to sign up at our website.
