Why Harvey?

Right after we got a beautiful, 28-year-old ice cream truck in the summer of 2010, we asked our family of customers to give us the best name for her.

And by submitting "Harvey", Derrick became a fast-food champion (and got his head stuck on the side of our truck).

Like Derrick wrote in his entry, "Not only is the name, Harvey, Old English for 'eager for battle; strong and worthy' (a name fitting for a truck). But, the core ingredient of ice cream, Milk, would agree that Harvey is an excellent name. Just ask Harvey Milk, of whom an excellent movie was just made. I guarantee he'd approve of the use of his name to distribute free shakes all summer. Indeed, Harvey Milkshake is the best name for such a strong, worthy, and eager shake truck."
